Phd in Accounting (Cardiff University), Master in Business Administration (UKM), Bachelor in Accountancy (UiTM), Diploma in Accountancy (UiTM)
Dr. Zarina completed her first degree in Accounting in 1998 and started her career as a senior executive in Bank Negara Malaysia. She performed audit supervision of all financial institutions in Malaysia to ensure that they complied with the Banking Acts and regulations. She pursued her MBA education while working as a senior executive and started her carrier as a lecturer after finishing her MBA in 2002. She was appointed as a coordinator for accounting subjects in University Technology Malaysia, franchise college as well as distance learning program; a committee member for curriculum syllabus development and e-learning, academic advisor for students and other academic activities. After teaching for four years, she pursued her PhD in Cardiff University and specialized in financial reporting quality and corporate governance. She joined International Business School as a lecture after completed her PhD program. She is interested to do research on financial reporting quality, corporate governance, corporate disclosure, audit, corproate issues and performance.
